Стаття зосереджена на вивченні викликів і можливостей розвитку високошвидкісного залізничного транспорту в Україні та світі. Основна мета дослідження – аналіз світового досвіду створення високошвидкісних залізничних систем, оцінювання сучасного стану та перешкод для розвитку в Україні, а також розроблення рекомендацій для розвитку залізничного транспорту. Особливу увагу приділено дослідженню успішних глобальних проєктів, які висвітлюють переваги і труднощі впровадження таких технологій, а також аналізу інфраструктурних і технічних обмежень в України. Результати показують необхідність значних капіталовкладень, оновлення транспортної інфраструктури і адаптації передового міжнародного досвіду до локальних реалій. Стаття наводить перспективні рішення про співпрацю між державою і приватним сектором, використання іноземних технологій і вдосконалення законодавчої бази.
